Greenwich Man Charged after Breaking Car Windows

On Sept 26 around 2:00pm, multiple Greenwich Police units responded to a Greenwich residence on a report of a male causing a disturbance.

Police say that the arrestee, Christian Ryan Marchand, 33, of Greenwich, had destroyed the victim’s property, which consisted of several car windows with damages exceeding $1,500.

Also, police say it was determined Mr. Marchand had acted in a violent and threatening manner on the public roadway and toward other members of the victim’s family.

He was charged with Criminal Mischief 1 and Breach of Peace 2.

Mr. Marchand was able to post the required 10% of his $5,000 bond and was released. He was assigned the next available court date in Stamford Superior Court, which was the following day.
