GPD Charge Stamford Man with Multiple Charges of Harassment, Violation of Protective Order

On Wednesday, Greenwich Police arrested a Stamford man by warrant and charged him with 7 counts of Harassment 2 and Criminal Violation of a Civil Protection Order for incidents stemming back to last month.

Police say a victim had an active protective order against Matthew Cooper Krantz, 22, but for about a month he allegedly continued to send unwanted messages to the victim.

His bond was set at $250.

Krantz turned himself in on an active warrant for an incident on Oct 7th in which he violated an Order of Protection and Harassed the protective party.

He was released after posting his $250 bond.

He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Oct 27.
