On Aug 11 a Stamford man surrendered at Greenwich Police headquarters on an active warrant for Harassment 2.
Police say that after an investigation, Michael Yanaros, 26, was told by officers to cease all contact with the victim after he responded to the victim’s residence.
Police say Yanaros ignored officers’ warning and opted to call, text and email the victim incessantly while using profane language. He was charged with two counts of Harassment 2.
He was released after posting his $50,000 bond.
He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on August 12, 2021.
The victim was contacted and apprised of Yanaros’s release.
