On Wednesday morning Gavin Anthony Scotti III, 19, of Parsonage Rd in Greenwich was involve in what police described as a minor two-car crash in the area of Lake Ave and Clapboard Ridge Rd.

Lt Slusarz said Scotti was operating a BMW X3 and there were no injuries.

Investigation revealed that Mr. Scotti had an active arrest warrant issued by the court and he was charged with Failure to Respond to Infraction issued by the Marine Section for an incident on June 29, 2019 in the area of River Rd.

According to the CT Dept of Justice website, Scotti was cited for Failure to Number/Have Documents and Failure to Comply with Federal Requirement to have Flotation Devices. A rearrest was ordered on March 4, 2020.

Back in Dec 2018, Mr. Scotti III was arrested in Edgartown on Martha’s Vineyard after a vandalism spree connected to a teen house party.

The Vineyard Gazette described a scene of shattered glass, kicked-in fences, smashed Christmas lights, and beer cans littering lawns, and reported that after an investigation and interviews police arrested Mr. Scotti, 18 at the time, and a 17-year-old boy whose name was withheld because he was a juvenile.
