On Monday around 9:30pm a Greenwich Police officer spotted a blue Mercedes Benz SUV stuck in the mud along Glenville Road near Pemberwick Rd.
The officer saw the driver, later identified as Fadi N Yanni, 49, of Chieftans Rd in Greenwich, attempting get unstuck.
Mr. Yanni was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he was unable to perform to standard.
He was charged with DUI (second offense) and Failure to Drive in Proper Lane.
He was unable to post his $250 bond and was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 13, 2020.
