DUI for Man Whose Car Got Stuck on Large Boulder in Back Country

On April 28, Greenwich Police were dispatched to Taconic Rd ad Interlaken Rd on a report of a car crash with possible injuries.

The sole occupant of the car, Mark Milostan, 32, of 578 Scofield Town Rd in Stamford, refused medical attention from medics on scene.

Officers interviewed Milostan who said that after leaving an event at Burning Tree Country Club he ended up off the road with his car immobilized on top of a large boulder after failing to negotiate a turn.

When asked, Mr. Milostan admitted to consuming several alcoholic beverages at the event.

After failing to perform standard field sobriety tests to standard, Milostan was arrested and charged with DUI, Failure to carry Insurance and Failure to Drive Right.

His bond was set at $250 and he was assigned a court date in Stamford Superior Court on May 12, 2017.
