On Sept 20 around 9:30pm Greenwich Police observed a car headed south on Weaver Street and cross over the solid white line onto the shoulder of the road multiple times, almost striking a parked car.
A motor vehicle stop was conducted and police say the driver, Brayan Vesga-Salazar, 25, of Fox Lane in Greenwich, was slurring his words and smelled of alcohol.
Vesga-Salazar was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard. He was arrested and charged with failure to Drive in Proper Lane and DUI.
His bond was set at $250, which he was able to post. He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Oct 4, 2019.
