On Monday around 2:20am Greenwich Police responded to a single car crash in the area of 234 Round Hill Rd.
Police say Irene Emma Phipps, 46 of Framingham, MA hit a tree stump, sustaining heavy front end damage to her vehicle.
Police say Phipps had the odor associated with alcohol, slurred her words and did not perform field sobriety tests to standard.
She was charged with DUI and Unsafe Movement. She was unable to post her $250 bond. She has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Nov 2.
