On Oct 2 Greenwich Police served an arrest warrant for a Greenwich man wanted for Assault 3 and Disorderly Conduct.
Police say the warrant stemmed from an investigation into an incident back on Sept 13. Police say the arrestee, Richard Thomas Caires, 65, of North Street, had been the aggressor in a verbal altercation that turned physical when he punched the victim in the face.
Caires bond was set at $25,000, which he was able to post.
He was was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Oct 5, 2020.
The victim was contacted and apprised of the arrestee’s release.
