$500,000 Bond for Man Charged with Violating Protective Order in Greenwich

On March 26 Greenwich Police caught up with a Rye Brook man in Stamford Superior Court where he was attending an unrelated scheduled criminal hearing.

Greenwich Police had a warrant for the arrest of James Jose Venia, 24, of 705 Westchester Ave in Rye Brook, NY,  for Violating a Protective Order/Imposing Restraint Upon the  Liberty of a Person (a class C felony) and Threatening 2nd degree in Greenwich.

Venia was detained by CT Judicial Marshals who turned him over to GPD officers for arrest.

Venia was transported back to GPD headquarters where he was processed.

He was unable to post his $500,000 bond and was held at headquarters until his arraignment.
