The Bruce Museum is planning a cool after-hours event this week. “The Superbia Soirée,” is a lively event open to the public, on Friday, July 17 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
For just $20 for non members and $15 for members, the event will offer special evening access to the Museum’s newest exhibition, The Seven Deadly Sins: Pride, as well as a variety of activities to celebrate the show including a grown-up scavenger hunt and a special curator’s tour that includes an opportunity to hear from some of the artists featured in the exhibition. At GHS work has begun on the west parking lot which will be expanded with a goal of easing parking lot congestion and improve flow of school buses. Over the summer stormwater collection and detention systems will be installed, along with parking lot lighting. Those piles of soil will be relocated and used for grading.
