“Undie Sundays” at Greenwich Churches Benefits the Undies Project at Neighbor-to-Neighbor throughout May

Underwear is one of the most under-donated, and most needed, item of clothing. No one should be deprived of the simple, daily necessity of clean underwear that many of us take for granted. Hygiene and physical comfort are only a part of this basic human need. New, clean underwear also provides dignity and self esteem. Greenwich Board of Education Votes to Appoint Sal Corda as Interim Superintendent, July 1

The new interim superintendent to replace Dr. McKersie until a permanent superintendent is hired was announced on Thursday. The Board of Education voted to appoint Dr. Salvatore (Sal) J. Corda as Interim Superintendent, effective July 1, 2016.Dr. McKersie’s tenure as the Greenwich Public Schools Superintendent will come to a close on June 30, 2016.

Popular Greenwich Parks & Rec Summer Music Camp Bumped to “Gym-a-torium” at Riverside School

The Parks & Rec board held its monthly meeting for May on Wednesday night. During her summer camp update, Sue Snyder said the popular music & art camp, now in its 80th year, has been been moved to Riverside School, and the musicians will be in the “gym-a-torium”.
