Greenwich Tax Collector Howard Richman said close to 20,000 bills were mailed to residents on December 20, 2018. The bills were half real estate and half supplemental motor vehicle taxes for cars registered between October 2, 2017 and July 31, 2018. “Our onlines picked up in the last couple of cycles,” Richman said, referring to people who paid their Greenwich taxes online. “We are hoping more people will pay online.” Richman said residents are always welcome to pay their taxes in person at Greenwich Town Hall or to send a check in the mail.
