The Greenwich Tree Conservancy is thrilled to announce this year’s Tree Party on Earth Day, April 22 at McArdle’s Greenhouse. This year’s celebration of trees marks the 15th anniversary of the founding of the organization and the 10th anniversary of the Tree Party.
“We are so pleased to be back to having our Tree Party after not being able to for two years. The Tree Conservancy tries to host tree walks, workshops and speakers with no charge and that can only be done with a successful annual fundraiser,” said director JoAnn Messina. “In addition to celebrating our 15 year anniversary we are so proud to have planted over 5000 trees on public lands in Greenwich partnering with the town.”
Since their establishment in 2007 the tree conservancy has:

568 Trees labeled in parks, schools, & roadways creating the Greenwich Town Arboretum
44 Tree Walks in town parks and locales led by tree experts
23 Educational speaker forums and workshop events
