Avon Theatre Announces 12th Annual Scholarship Awards Essay Contest: Why Film Matters

The Avon Theatre Film Center is proud to announce their 12th Annual Scholarship Awards Essay Contest. A total of $7,000 in college scholarship prizes will be awarded.

Seniors in public and private high schools in Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY are invited to submit a 500 – 750 word essay on “WHY FILM MATTERS”. Essays must be submitted by Monday, May 17, 2021.
