YMCA of Greenwich Marlins Dive Club Receive 1-Meter Diving Board, Scholarship Fund

Members of the YMCA of Greenwich Marlins Dive Club are entering the Y’s second century of service with a brand new 1-meter diving board and scholarship fund, thanks to a generous donation provided by an alumni diving family. Christina and Sydney Powers dedicated the diving board in loving memory of their husband and father, Stephen B. Powers. At 100, YMCA of Greenwich Savors Its View from the Top

On a clear sunny afternoon, a small group ascended the scaffolding that shrouds the YMCA of Greenwich. The group has a close up look of the restoration of the building’s slate roof and facade, which is being restored after 100 years. Greenwich YMCA Water Polo Athlete Heading to Olympic Games in Rio

Thomas Dunstan joins the USA Olympic Men’s Water Polo Team. After competing in the Olympics, Dunstan will begin his studies this fall at the University of Southern California as a freshman. Dunstan’s two older sisters also played water polo at the Greenwich YMCA and later in college. Taylor played at Princeton University and Erin played at University of Richmond. Continue Reading →
