Attorney for Neighbors of Desecrated African-American Cemetery: No Proof There is a Cemetery There

Thursday’s Board of Selectmen meeting included a public hearing seeking public comment on three cemeteries known as the Lyon Cemetery, Byram Cemetery and African-American Cemetery in Byram. The Town is considering whether to acquire the three cemeteries which have no deed history. Testifying at the hearing was Teresa Vega, who was recently interviewed by Greenwich Free Press.
