Sam Bridge Neighbor to P&Z: I’m not a reindeer hater. I object to a month-long carnival.

A neighbor of Sam Bridge Nursery and Greenhouses objected to what he called a month-long carnival, referring to the reindeer festival which runs over four weeks and includes a generator to power two amusement rides: a train and carousel. Greenwich Tree Conservancy Benefit Reimagines McArdle’s as a Tree House

In less than ten years, Greenwich has lost about 3,000 of its trees. Residents are too familiar with the sight of massive trees falling across roads and power lines during storms and hurricanes. At a benefit at McArdle’s on Friday, the Greenwich Tree Conservancy reaffirmed its commitment to replace lost trees. This Corgi-Hound Mix Could Be Your ‘Buddy’

Check out sweet boy “Buddy,” a 5-year-old Hound-Corgi mix who is calm as can be, if not a tad shy. He won over the hearts of a dozen Eastern Middle School 8th graders at Pet Pantry recently.
