Greenwich Choral Society’s Holiday Concert, “Holiday Brass” is set for Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 4:00 and Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 2:30 and 5:00 at Christ Church, Greenwich, 254 East Putnam Ave. Paul F. Mueller is the Music Director and Conductor. This year’s Greenwich Choral Society December Concert, “Holiday Brass,” features Jonathan Willcocks’ exhilarating Magnificat, a melodious and rhythmical setting of the Song of Mary from the Gospel of Luke. The program will also include shorter works for brass and chorus by Jan Sweelinck, Leo Nestor and Julian Wachner.
