Greenwich Enforces Ordinance against Commercial Dog Walkers at Mianus Park

New Non-Profit, PAWS of Greenwich to Hold Grass Island Dog Park “Spring Spruce Up”

Dog season at Tod’s Point is over. Where can a dog run around? A Greenwich dog owner formed a non profit PAWS of Greenwich after exploring the Grass Island Dog Park, which is adjacent to the waste water treatment plant. Interesting Parks & Rec Vote on Extending Dog Season at the Beach

“Most people were upset that there isn’t much enforcement down there. And when you try to enforce it, there is a very contentious response. People aren’t following the rules and the extension of it would just aggravate it more.” – Nancy Caplan, chair of the board of Parks & Rec on extending the dog season at Greenwich Point by two weeks in the fall and two weeks in the spring for a total of five months.
