Experience the Sound to Returns to Greenwich Point on Sunday, June 26

At the latter location, local commercial Shell fishermen “host” a free raw bar of clams and oysters harvested form Greenwich waters and cooked Edible Seaweed (sugar kelp) also harvested locally. Experience The Sound to Feature 40+ Groups, Free Raw Bar, Family-Friendly Activities

The family-friendly event features 40+ groups, all with information and activities. The event is free and open to the public. There will be face painting, a free raw bar and tours of the schooner SoundWaters, a Marine Police boat, and a shellfish barge. Experience the Sound Event Returns to Tod’s Pt on June 26

Board a boat at the yacht club docks (The Soundwaters Schooner, Greenwich Police Boat, and a clam boat). Check out Greenwich Community Sailing (sailing instruction, canoe rental and paddle boarding). Perfect Day for 8th Annual “Experience the Sound” at Greenwich Point

Kudos to the person who ordered up the perfect weather on Sunday for the “Experience the Sound” event, organized by the Bruce Museum and the Town’s Shellfish Commission. The event included tours of a shellfishing boat and a free raw bar! Several organizations set up under tents outside Innis Arden Cottage, and a fleet of Bruce Museum Seaside Center volunteers did a bit of show and tell with the sea life for kids of all ages.
