Greenwich Students Receive Honors at Colgate University

Colgate University announced that several students from Greenwich received a Dean’s Award, and Dean’s Award with Distinction for fall semester 2016.

Students receiving the Dean’s Award with Distinction, which requires a term grade point average of 3.6 or higher while completing at least 3 course credits, are:

  • Joshua Erickson, Colgate Class of 2020, a graduate of Greenwich High School
  • Kenneth Citron, Colgate Class of 2019, a graduate of The Lawrenceville School
  • Alexandra Jurkowitz, Colgate Class of 2017, a graduate of The Hotchkiss School
  • Philip Brauer, Colgate Class of 2018, a graduate of The Taft School
  • Matthew Swain, Colgate Class of 2017, a graduate of Rye Country Day School

Students receiving the Dean’s award for academic excellence, which requires a term GPA of 3.3 or higher while completing at least 3 courses, are:

  • Claire O’Connor, Colgate Class of 2017, a graduate of Greenwich High School
  • Brett Saperstein, Colgate Class of 2017, a graduate of Rye Country Day School
  • Julia Hyland, Colgate Class of 2017, a graduate of Greenwich High School
