The Friends of the Byram Shubert Library sponsor the chance for children to learn how to make music together on drums and other percussion instruments!

10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 14 Puppet Show: Rainbow Fish and the Deep Blue Sea
Inspired by the award-winning books by Marcus Pfister, this original adventure by the Robert Rogers Puppet Company colorful marionettes brings the characters to life! The Friends of the Byram Shubert Library sponsor this vacation Week delight!

1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 14  Fun with Chess with Master Rich
More School Vacation Week fun! The Friends of the Byram Shubert Library sponsor this chance to learn the moves or enhance skills in this mind-enhancing game. Chess pieces are supplied.

11 a.m., Wednesday, February 15 Math Marathon for 3rd through 6th graders
Play math games on the computer! Win prizes! Limited to the first 12 yooung whiz kids who show up.

12:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 15 Math Marathon for 3rd through 6th graders

3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 15 R.E.A.D. to a Dog
The weekly opportunity for young readers aged 5 – 12 to choose a book and practice reading skills for an audience made up of a friendly, well-trained dog and its owner.

1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 16 Science Craft: Make a Windmill
The Friends of the Byram Shubert Library bring this vacation week adventure to kids in 3rd grade and above. It’s a chance to design and build a windmill – and test it out. Limited to 30 participants.
