Woman Turns Herself in at Greenwich Police HQ for Allegedly Stealing Expensive Shaving Brush

On April 7 at approximately 6:30am, Christina Bauer, 50, of 169 Bowen Road in Carmel, NY voluntarily responded to Greenwich Police headquarters after being notified of an active warrant for her arrest for Larceny 4th degree, with a bond of $1,200.

Bauer was advised that she was being placed under arrest and was searched before being processed. She was assigned a court date of April 7 in Stamford Superior Court. She elected not to post bail and remain in the police holding cell until being taken to court. The charge stems back to an incident on March 15 on Greenwich Avenue.

According to Greenwich Police on March 15 Bauer was observed on a surveillance video stealing a nickel plated shaving brush valued at $990 from the Twinlux Chrome Collection razor set.
