On Feb 26 at about 12:30am, Greenwich Police responded to the area of Byram Road and Frontage Rd on a report of a motor vehicle accident. Investigation revealed that a car driven by Andrea Veira, 31, of 11547 226th Street in Cambria Hts, NY had been driving on the wrong side of the road when it hit another vehicle after a sudden start.
While interviewing Veira, Police say she exhibited signs of driving under the influence of alcoholic type beverages. She failed to perform field sobriety tests to standard.
She was charged with DUI, Driving the Wrong Way and Restricted Turns Fail Signal. Her bond was set at $250 and she was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Cour ton March 13, 2017.
