Martin Marusak, 45, of 20 Harold Street in Cos Cob was arrested and charged with DUI and Failure to Drive in Proper lane around 4pm on June 14 after Greenwich Police responded to a report of a white Mercedes being driven by an intoxicated man in the area of Sound Beach Avenue.
Upon responding, officers observed a vehicle matching the witness description and a stop was conducted at East Putnam Ave and River Road Extension.
Through investigation it was determined that the driver, Mr. Marusak, displayed glassy eyes and the odor associated with alcoholic beverages.
Mr. Marusak failed to perform field sobriety tests to standard. He was later released on $250 bond and has a court date on June 28, 2017 in Stamford Superior Court.
