Two Residences Burgled in Greenwich over the Weekend

Greenwich Police say there were two burglaries in Greenwich on Saturday.

At 6:00pm a resident at 41 Lockwood Lane reported the house had been broken into. According to Lt Slusarz, the house was a new construction that was recently completed and no one lives within there yet. Someone broke into the vacant house through a garage window, and it appeared nothing was taken, as the house was empty.

At 9:40pm, homeowners at 11 Deer Lane reported their home had been burgled., with thieves forcing entry through a back door.

According to Lt Slusarz, the homeowner went away for part of the weekend. Upon returning the resident did not notice anything out of the ordinary until she went to the second floor and found it had been ransacked. Slusarz said inventory is pending. As of Monday it was not certain what was missing.
