Two Men Charged with Larceny, Conspiracy for Stolen Landscaping Equipment

Jevoun Darnell Rodney, 18, of 273 Black Rock Ave in Bridgeport and Raymond Benson, 45, of 500 Dewey Street in Bridgeport were arrested by Greenwich Police on Oct 7 at about 3:00pm after officers were assisted by Harrison, NY Police in identifying the suspects who were involved in a larceny of landscaping equipment from a property on Stonehedge Drive South in Greenwich.

According to Greenwich Police, the identities of Mr. Benson and Mr. Rodney were established and it was confirmed that the two men stole a back pack leaf flower from a residence on Stonehedge Drive. The men were arrested and charged with Larceny 5 and Conspiracy.

Each was held on a $250 bond and assigned a court date in Stamford Superior Court on October 14, 2016.

Mr. Rodney was released without incident. Mr. Benson, who was determined to be subject to an arrest warrant in Thomaston, was transferred to Thomaston Police Department.
