Trouble for Driver with No Plates, No Insurance, No Valid License, No Container for Prescription Pills

On Jan 19, at about 2:45am, Police conducted a motor vehicle stop near Delavan Ave and Frontage Road. Greenwich Police after observing a black BMW traveling west on Hamilton Ave without front or rear license plates.

On scene investigation revealed that the BMW was unregistered and uninsured.

Also, the driver, Cortney Miller, 39, of 31 Harold Ave in Greenwich was driving on a suspended New York license.

She was charged with Driving an Unregistered Motor vehicle, Driving with No Insurance, Driving Under Suspension.

She was also charge with Possession of a Controlled Substance because before the police had the car towed, they did an inventory of the car and found a schedule 2 controlled substance, Methylphenidate, a Stimulant used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy, that was not in its original container as required by law.
