Greenwich Police report that there was an attempted vehicle theft Chapel Lane in Riverside at 3:00am on May 16th.
According to Lt David Nemecek, the call came in as subject actively trying to steal a motor vehicle.
The thief or thieves were able to get the car running where it was parked in a driveway, but did not successfully back it out of the driveway.
The vehicle, a 2017 Ford Explorer, was left with the key fob inside.
