Reginald Hyppolite, 44, of 14 Elmer Street in Stamford was arrested on April 28 following an incident on West Putnam Ave at about 12:30pm. While investigatin a motor vehicle accident, Hyppolite related that he had hit the car in front of him, the odor associated with consumption of alcoholic beverages was detected. He related that he was drinking the previous night and ended at approximately 2:00am.
Hyppolite did not perform field sobriety tests to standard and was charged with DUI and Following too Close. His bond was set at $250 which he posted and was released to his girlfriend. Hyppolite has a court date of May 12 in Stamford Superior Court.
