Just after midnight on Oct. 13, Michael J Finnegan, 57, of 19 Harold Ave in Greenwich was observed by Greenwich Police operating his vehicle above the posted speed limit and crossing the double yellow line while in a left curve on Hamilton Ave.
According to Greenwich Police, upon stopping Finnegan in the area of Artic Street in Chickahominy, the odor associated with consumption of alcoholic beverage emanated from the vehicle and breath.
Finnegan, who admitted to having consumed alcoholic beverages prior to driving failed to field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for Failure to Keep Right on a Curve, Traveling Unreasonably Fast and Operation While Under the Influence. He posted $250 cash bond and has a court date in Stamford on Nov. 6, 2014.
