Pulled over for Headlight Out, Driver Charged with Driving with Suspended License

Josue Allende-Cabanas, 31, of 1425 Bedford St in Stamford was arrested on April 25 following an incident in the area of Mill Street and Henry Street in Byram.

On Tuesday around 11:40 pm, Greenwich Police stopped a Jeep Liberty with its front headlight out. During the course of the investigation, police learned that Mr. Allende-Cabanas’ license was suspended due to a previous DUI.

He was arrested and charged with Driving with a Suspended License and Failure to Have Head Lamps.

Mr. Allende-Cabanas was able to post his $500 bond and has a court date in Stamford Superior Court on May 3, 2017.
