Police Respond to Back Country Burglary That Triggered Homeowner’s Alarm System

Greenwich Police responded to a back country alarm activation on November 30th around 7pm.

Police responded to the call, which originated from Burying Hill Road, and were met by the home owner, who was outside across the street.

According to Lt Slusarz, the homeowner came home to find her the front door open.

The officers checked the house and found the back sliding glass door had been broken.

Police checked and secured the perimeter of the property.

The resident discovered some items had been stolen, including a jewelry box. Inventory of possible missing items was still under way at the time of the report.
