Outstanding Warrant Catches up to Driver Stopped with Hazard Lights On

On July 2 at about 2:30pm, a driver, Luis A Rivera, 26, of 130 Arthur St in Bridgeport was arrested for an outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear.  Rivera, who was stopped on Hillside Rd with his flashers illuminated had stopped in the travel portion of the road.

Upon checking on his need for assistance, Greenwich Police learned that Rivera’s vehicle registration was not valid and his license was suspended. Also, Rivera had an actrive arrest warrant for Failure to Appear.

Rivera was arrested and transported to Greenwich Police headquarters without incident. He was processed and released on a $50 bond, and has a court date of July 10 at Stamford Superior Court.
