No License, No Insurance, No Registration, Under Arrest.

police stationSergio Criollo, 34, of 35 Clinton Ave, Apt #2 in Stamford was charged with Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle, No Insurance and Operating with a Suspended or Revoked License after an incident on April 18 on Frontage Rd in Byram.

On Saturday, Greenwich Police were monitoring vehicular traffic at the three way intersection of Frontage Road, Louden Street, and the I-95 Southbound exit 2 off ramp. Police were looking for motor vehicle violations and checking validity of Registration Plates as vehicles stopped at the intersection.

Greenwich Police observed the Criollo’s vehicle stop at the intersection and conducted a Dept. of Motor Vehicles query on the registration, which revealed its status as ‘Expired.’

Greenwich Police conducted a Motor Vehicle Stop where, which revealed that the operator of the vehicle, Sergio Criollo, did not have a license, current registration, or insurance on the vehicle.

It was also determined that Criollo had a suspended Connecticut Driver’s License due to DWI.

Criollo was placed under arrest and transported to Greenwich Police Headquarters where he was charged with driving with a Suspended License, driving an Unregistered Motor Vehicle, and operating with No Insurance. Criollo was released on a $250 cash bond and assigned a court d of April 30, 2015 at Stamford Superior Court.
