New Year’s Arrest for Unruly Patron at the Ginger Man

On Jan 1, 2018 at 12:53am Greenwich Police were dispatched to The Ginger Man at 64 Greenwich Avenue on a report of an unruly patron refusing to leave.

Upon arrival, officers were met by a man who refused to leave the establishment. Once escorted out of the restaurant, the man became loud and refused to comply with officers’ commands.

According to police, the man refused to identify himself at first, but was later identified as Christopher Kelly, 47, of 161 Berrian Rd in Stamford.

Mr. Kelly was found to be in possession of a small amount of THC.

He was charged with Illegal Possession, Criminal Trespass 1, Interfering with an Officer and Breach of Peace 2. His bond was set at $250 and he has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 10, 2018.
