Multiple Drug Charges for Greenwich Man Stopped for Failed Tail Light

On Wednesday night around 10:30pm after officers on patrol in the area of Sheephill Road in the North Mianus area of town stopped a car that had a tail light out.

Investigation led to the discovery of approximately 530 Alprazolam pills, an ounce of Marijuana, a bag of cocaine, a small amount of THC wax and drug packaging material within the vehicle.

The driver, Frank Anthony Futie, 20, of 903 King Street in Greenwich was arrested on scene and charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 4 oz, possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell, Operating a Drug Factory.

He was also issued a warning for the failed tail light.

Futie’s bond was set at $5,000 which, at the time of his arrest, he was unable to post. He was placed in a police cell block.

Futie was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on March 7, 2018.
