Motor Vehicle Stop Results in Arrest of Bridgeport Man for Failure to Appear

Greenwich Police carGreenwich Police made a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle for having a defective exhaust system. The stop took place at the intersection of Horseneck Lane and Arch Street at about 3:30pm on March 10.

During the investigation at the scene of the motor vehicle stop, a passenger in the vehicle, Joshua Rodriguez, 22, was found to have an active warrant from Bridgeport for Failure to Respond to an Infraction. The warrant stemmed from the accused having missed a court date on June 4, 2014 in Bridgeport Superior Court related to an issued summons of an unknown charge.

The accused was arrested for the warrant, processed and posted a $100 court set bond and released from custody. He is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on March 25, 2015.
