Man Turns Himself in at GPD on Warrant for New Year’s Day DUI

A Greenwich man turned himself in at Greenwich Police headquarters on Wednesday on an outstanding warrant, which stemmed back to an incident on New Year’s Day 2017.

Police say that John M Fairbrother, 62, of 25 Glenville Street in Greenwich was above the .80 legal limit at the time he was involved in a motor vehicle collision on Byram Road on New Year’s Day.

He was charged with DUI and Restricted Turns Fail Signal. His bond was set at $5,000 and he was assigned a court date at Stamford Superior Court on April 12, 2017.
