Greenwich Police initiated a motor vehicle stop on Ritch Ave in Byram on March 11 at about 2:00 am after spotting a car without a front license plate.
After stopping the car, it was learned that the driver, Tirso M Carrasco-Mateo, 25, of 1566 Stratfield Road in Fairfield CT had a suspended driver’s license due to a previous DWI arrest.
Officers arrested Mr. Carrasco-Mateo and transported him to Greenwich Police headquarters where he was charged with Failure to Display a License Plate and Driving with a Revolked/Suspended License.
Mr. Carrasco-Mateo was assigned a court date of March 23 in Stamford Superior Court. He was able to post his court set bond of $250 and was released.
