Man Arrested Twice by Greenwich Police in One Week

Isai C Hernandez, 23, of 168 John Street in Greenwich was arrested and charged with DUI, Driving with No Insurance, and Restricted Turns fail Signal on May 30 after Greenwich Police responded to 48 Locust Road on the report of a car crash around 9:30pm.

According to police, when they arrived on scene they discovered Mr. Hernandez had crashed into a utility pole.

Investigation revealed his insurance was not valid and he showed signs consistent with intoxication. He did not perform field sobriety tests to standard.  He was assigned a court date later the same day in Stamford Superior Court. He was released on a $250 bond.

Mr. Hernandez was also arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Assault 3.on May 31 for his involvement in a fight outside police headquarters. At about 12:30am, Greenwich Police responded to the area of Bruce Place and Havemeyer Place on a report of an altercation between two people.

Police determined Hernandez had gotten into a fight with another man due to his own intoxicated and belligerent behavior.
