High Bond Set after DUI from 2012 Catches up with Woman, 22

On Aug 18 Greenwich Police responded to Stamford Police Department to serve a warrant for Failure to Appear 2nd degree on Amy Lynn Centerione, 22, of 271 Hesiop Rd Mountain Top, PA.

Ms. Centerione was arrested for Failure to Appear for a DWI charge stemming from an incident that took place on on Riversville Rd back on March 3, 2012.

Stamford Police turned Centurione over to Greenwich Police on Aug. 18. She was processed and given a court date of August 28 at in Superior Court Stamford. Unable to post her $25,000 bond Centurione is being held at Greenwich Police Station.

According to a supplemental narrative, back on March 3, 2012 Centurione had been operating her 2005 Ford sedan traveling north on Riversville Rd between Pecksland Rd and Bailiwick Rd when she lost control, crossed over the double yellow line, left the roadway and rolled over.

She was able to extricate herself from the vehicle and suffered only minor injuries. The investigating officer observed Centurione to be highly intoxicated and combative with emergency medical personnel at scene. She was treated by GEMS personnel and subsequently transported to Greenwich Hospital for further examination. The investigating officer obtained and executed a Search Warrant for Centurione’s blood, which revealed that she was intoxicated at the time of the accident. The investigating officer then obtained an Arrest Warrant for DWI for Centurione.

On Dec. 11, 2013, Centurione was taken into custody based upon Greenwich Police’s DWI warrant while at the Luzern Correctional County Correctional Center in New York State. She had been detained there for an unrelated matter. After being returned to Greenwich, she was processed at and released after posting a $250 bond.

On December 18, 2015 Centurione was taken into custody by Stamford Police for Failure to Appear 2nd degree. There are no details as to how she came to the attention of the Stamford PD.
