Greenwich Woman Caught Stealing Christmas Gifts from Neighbor’s Parked Car

At about 11:30pm, on Dec. 23 Greenwich Police responded to a report of a woman removing items from a car parked in a driveway on Prospect Street.

Upon arrival, officers interviewed the victim, who related that Laura Krupinski had removed Christmas gifts from his car.

Krupinski, 48, of 81 Prospect St had fled the scene prior to police arrival, but was located a short time later.

Upon being interviewed, Krupinski denied taking the gifts from the car. She was arrested and transported to police headquarters where she was charged with Burglary 3rd and Larceny 5th. She was able to post the $500 bond and released from custody with a court date of Dec. 30, 2015.
