Greenwich Police Respond to Car Accidents During Snow Storm

On Feb 12, during a snow storm, Greenwich Police responded to multiple motor vehicle accidents.

One accident resulted from a vehicle sliding off the road in the area of 90 Sound Beach Ave around 9:00am. According to police the vehicle struck a wall and the operator complained of head pain. She was taken to the hospital, where she was treated and released.

Greenwich Police also responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident involving injuries on West Putnam Avenue around 9:45am.

According to police, a vehicle traveling too fast for conditions spun out on West Putnam Avenue and struck another vehicle. Although it was first reported as a crash involving injuries, when police arrived on scene, it was determined that nobody had been hurt.
