Akeen Brandon Ali, 22, of 32 Sundance Drive in cos Cob was arrested by Greenwich Police on May 28 after he was observed driving on Indian Field Road and police were aware of an active warrant for his arrest.
Greenwich Police initiated a motor vehicle stop.
Based on the warrant, Mr. Ali was charged with Larceny 6 and Forgery 3.
According to Greenwich Police, a review of the warrant indicated that in March, Mr. Ali had forged a stolen check and used it to facilitate the release of his car from impound.
Mr. Ali was assigned a court date on June 12, 2017 in Stamford Superior Court. He was assigned a bond of $500, which he was able to post.
