Greenwich Police Catch up with Man Who Tried to Steal Hair Dryers from CVS

Robert B Torrens, 49, of 20 Dolsen Place in Stamford was arrested by Greenwich Police on Nov 17 for incidents on Sept 15 and Sept 20 when he was apprehended at Riverside CVS attempting to steal hair care items.

According to Greenwich Police, on Nov 17, at about 10:00am, investigators from Greenwich Police Dept were at Stamford Court House when they were advised that Mr. Torrens would be exiting a Correctional Transportation bus that had brought him from Bridgeport Correctional Facility.

Greenwich Police, who held a warrant for Mr. Torrens, arrested him for outstanding Larceny 6 charges.

Judge Grogins set bond for Mr Torrens at $10,000, which he was unable to post.

He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Dec. 2, 2016.
