Greenwich Police Bust Multiple Burglary Suspects

Four men were arrested on Dec 27 around 6:00pm and charged with Possession of Burglar Tools.

Over the past several months, the Greenwich Police Dept Detective Division has conducted an ongoing investigation into residential burglaries.

A suspect was identified and intelligence was received that Rafael Bolivar Capellan-Fernandez, was in Greenwich.

Multiple marked and unmarked police cars converged on the area where suspect was believed to be located.

A motor vehicle stop was conducted in which Rafael Bolivar Capellan-Fernandez and three other suspects were in the vehicle. All four were arrested and charged with Possession of Burglar Tools.

Of the four, Walter Rosario-Estrella, 29, of 2660 Anthony Ave in the Bronx, was additionally charged with Interfering with an Officer after providing a false birth date to police.

The four charged are Jhoan Javier Usman-Jordan, 21, of 11th Ave 127th St in Colege Point, NY; Rafael Emilio Capellan-Fernandez, 27, 1275 Edward L Grant Hwy in Bronx, NY; Rafael Bolivar Capellan-Fernandez, 28, of 1841 123 St in College Point, NY; and Walter Rosario-Estrella, 29, of 2660 Anthony Ave in Bronx, NY.

Bond was set at $10,000 each for all four suspects. They are all due to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 10, 2018.
