Greenwich Man Charged with Risk of Injury to a Minor, Assault, Disorderly and Threatening

New Greenwich Police CarsOn Jan. 24, at about 3:30pm, an adult female responded to Greenwich Police to report a domestic incident with Alexander Silvano, 43, of 20 Brookside Drive earlier that day. After investigation, Greenwich Police determined that Silvano and the woman were in a verbal argument which turned physical. Silvano spat in the female’s face and hit her on the side of her forehead with an opened hand. Silvano also threatened to break the female’s jaw while she was holding her 10 month-old infant in her arms.

Silvano was located in his residence and was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to Greenwich Police Headquarters where he was charged with Risk of Injury to a minor,  Assault 3rd, Disorderly Conduct, and Threatening 2nd degree.

Silvano was assigned a domestic violence court appearance date of Jan. 26, 2015 at Stamford Superior Court. He posted $30,000 bond and was released without incident.
