Greenwich Man Charged with Interfering with a 911 Call, Assault and Disorderly

On Sunday, Greenwich Police responded to a complaint of a physical altercation on North Street.

Investigation revealed that the suspect, Jeremy Bashan, 23, of 474 North Street, grabbed the sweatshirt of the victim, shook her and tore the sweatshirt. Furthermore, Bashan allegedly prevented the victim from calling 911.

Bashan arrested on Sunday. He was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Interfering with an Emergency Call and Assault 3.

He was unable to post his bond of $1,000 and detained to a GPD cell block pending an appearance in Stamford Superior court on Monday, Jan 8, 2018.
